It is no wonder that the architecture practice was the one which brought together the first students and professors. The building was subjected to the idea of a living community with unpredictable and ever-changing relationships.

The 2008 Bunesti Summer School is only the beginning

During the 2008 Bunesti Summer School the first generation of students started to literally build the school with their own hands. We made the first construction of the future campus.

From the first to the last series the students were a constant joy for me. As it happens, I grew especially attached to some of them.

The project has a real ecological dimension

In the line of the good things that we wish to recreate is the fact that we shall build with materials which we may call ecological: wood, dried earth mixed with straw or adobe (namely, different types of combinations of earth, sand, manure and straw), river stone.
